Curling is just one of those classic Minnesota sports played on ice. It’s a sport in which players slide stones across a sheet of ice towards a target area. It is similar to shuffleboard. Minnesota is home to many curlers who have competed (and won) world class competitions including the Olympics. The following is a list of nationally recognized Curlers from Minnesota.

U.S. Olympic team member (2006, 2010, 2014, 2018). In 2018, Shuster and the rest of the U.S. Olympic Curling Team became the first Amercians to win the Olympic Gold medal. The 2006 team was the first U.S. team to win any Olympic medal in Curling (Bronze). Shuster also has five U.S. National Championships and seven World Curling Championships in Curling.
